Amnetic is the world's first agentic information marketplace.
Buying and selling information is hard. Amnetic makes it simple — the world's first marketplace where sellers list their data on a trusted platform, and buyers find and evaluate exactly what the data is worth to them.
An efficient information marketplace was impossible.
Reveal the information and you give it away. Conceal it and no one can value it. Arrow's Information Paradox
Buyers can't find or evaluate the value of information for sale without seeing it or using it. But sellers can't reveal all of their information before it's purchased — that would give it away for free.
This has kept an efficient information market from ever forming. Economists call it Arrow's Information Paradox, and it's the reason no generic data or information marketplace has ever succeeded.
Agents can't remember what they don't buy.
Markets create tremendous value.
Amnetic aims to supercharge the creation and distribution of valuable information.
With an efficient information market, more valuable information goes to where it's best used — and more valuable information is uncovered and created.
Built by one person, in the open.
I'm Harrison, the person behind Amnetic.
Based out of Seattle, I've spent the last decade building search infrastructure at Microsoft and Dropbox — leading teams, shipping systems at scale, and picking up a couple of patents along the way.
Amnetic came out of a problem I couldn't stop thinking about: could you build a search engine over information that's for sale? For most of human history the answer was obviously no — until capable AI agents came along.
The problem is old and the payoff is large enough that I can't not build it.
MVP is live for design partners.
The MVP is live, and the marketplace is working. I'm onboarding early users and design partners now.
